Life Legacy


Mr. Troy Dean Haddock, 41, of Grove, Oklahoma departed this life on Thursday morning, October 11, 2012 at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri after a brief illness.

Troy entered this life on July 30, 1971 in Claremore, Oklahoma born to the union of Robert Glenn and Ruby (Baker) Haddock. He moved with his family to Grove, Oklahoma in 1981 and was a 1990 graduate of Grove High School. He had worked at Erlanger Tubular in Catoosa, Oklahoma and most recently served as a first responder with the Cowskin Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing, boating and working on old cars.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Glenn Haddock; and two brothers, Allen Ray Haddock and Rick Haddock.

Troy is survived by his three children, Ryan, Tiffany and Melissa Haddock all of Grove, Oklahoma; his fiancé, Jonnie Stevens of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his mother, Ruby Haddock of Grove, Oklahoma; three brothers, Terry Haddock and wife, Marolyn, of Claremore, Oklahoma, Ron Haddock and wife, Bertha, of Grove, Oklahoma and Tracy Haddock also of Grove; a sister, Sheryl Bunyard of Grove, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Troy Haddock are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Scott Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in the Tracy Cemetery east of Anderson, Missouri. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Rex Baker, Mark Bartley, Mike Schlessman, Rusty Schlessman, Cody Haddock and John Haddock. Bobby Bunyard will be serving as an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
